Shopping for a Few of My Favorite Things

Hello, Readers! ‘Tis very nice to meet you! My name is Em, and I’ll be your tour guide as we shop together on the ‘Net.

I love shopping online, even if it is just window shopping. I’m notorious for visiting a favorite etailer, loading up a shopping cart, then navigating away without completing a purchase. This may sound silly, but it’s actually therapeutic for me. I’ve been guilty, in the past, of using shopping as a drug, as a way to get over whatever made me unhappy in my life. Shoes have never once let me down, unlike many people. I’m moving past that attitude, however! I still love to shop, but I’m also trying desperately, for the first time in my life, to save money. A new sweater may make me feel good briefly, but it certainly will not move me any closer to retirement!

Anyway, the point of this blog is for me to share with you the deals and steals that I find while browsing the web. I’ll share favorite sites for finding bargains, great sales, coupon codes, whatever I can find that will help you to find great stuff at great prices. Also, I welcome you post up any great deals that you find in the comments section. Doesn’t matter what it is – handbags, the Elmo toy du jour, chainsaws – if it’s a great deal, I want to know about it!
